Our first stop was Gyeongbok Palace of the Joseon Dynasty, the last Korean dynasty. The palace was first constructed in 1394 and reconstructed in 1867. We ran into fellow adoptive parents at the palace, Leah and her husband Mike, who are picking up their son tomorrow morning! Next we visited Insadong neighborhood shopping district and Namdaemun Market, a traditional Korean marketplace. We finished up the afternoon with another delicious authentic Korean meal. Tonight we are attending a traditional Korean show at the Korea House, our last event as a family of two!
Words cannot even begin to describe the joy and anticipation that we are feeling at this time. In less than 24 hours we will become parents to the most beautiful baby in the world!
