We had a awesome first day in Seoul!
Our tour guides for the day were our friends
Deborah Kim and her daughter Yong.
They are friends of a friend from my hometown and gave us a personal tour of their beautiful city. Today was Korean Independence Day celebrating the movement of independence from Japan in 1919. We toured a older residental part of Seoul which survived the Korean War, had a traditional Korean lunch, visited the National Museum of Korea and finished off the day atop a mountain watching the sunset over Seoul.
We are so thankful for the Kims and their hospitality!
Wow! What an amazing day! Thanks for sharing!!l Love y'all! C
