We sent a little care package to Evelyn in Korea yesterday and here are a few things that were in it:
A few little outfits, socks and a stuffed Golden retriever
so she can be prepared to meet Nate and Honeybear!
A blanket that we have been sleeping with for the past few weeks so that it has our scent
A Hallmark recordable storybook with us reading the story to her so that she can hear our voices
A picture album with pictures of Patrick, myself, Nate, Honeybear and our house so that she can what we look like and what her new house looks like.
The Korean symbol you see on the front of the book is her name.
A letter we wrote to Evelyn's foster parents and had translated into Korean by a friend of ours who is a Korean citizen

LOVE it!!!! I'm going to have to look into getting one of those books. That is too cute! She is one blessed little girl to be so loved already. I know you can't wait to get her home and have the opportunity to do all that loving yourself. :)

ReplyDeleteI love the care package!!! Evelyn is so loved by her parents and she does not even know it yet!! I am so excited that I am getting to watch and be apart of this amazing journey!! Can not wait to meet her!!! I love that you sent her a gloden retriever so that she can get used to her puppies!!

ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful care package! I love that little photo book! It took forever to find one when we sent our care package. I actually had a friend give it to us. I hope you get EP this year! Praying for you!
